What Is a Hand Valve?
A hand valve is a functional one-touch fitting used to manually turn compressed air on or off by rotating the handle. It can be used to shut off or restore airflow in a pneumatic line.
Hand Valve Specification and Type Selection
Hand valves are selected according to tube size, thread type, connection type, and compatible tubing.
The tube connection end should be confirmed according to the tube outside diameter.
If the fitting has a threaded end, the thread specification of the equipment, valve, or pneumatic component port should also be confirmed.

| Compatible Tubing | Compatible with PU tubing, nylon tubing, and other pneumatic tubing with compatible metric or inch O.D. |
Hand Valve Series and Connection Types
SHPI hand valves are available in four series according to the connection type on both ends.

|---|---|
| HVFS | Tube connection on one end and male thread on the other. Air flows from the tube end to the threaded end. |
| HVFF | Tube connections on both ends. |
| HVSF | Male thread on one end and tube connection on the other. Air flows from the threaded end to the tube end. |
| HVSS | Male threads on both ends. |
