G Thread One-Touch Fittings Specification Overview
G thread one-touch fittings use a G threaded connection on the equipment side.
This thread is also commonly referred to as BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel).
These fittings are mainly used for tube-to-thread connections.
One side connects to pneumatic tubing, while the threaded side connects to equipment ports, valve ports, or pneumatic component ports with matching thread specifications.
Common thread sizes include G1/8, G1/4, G3/8, and G1/2. These are equipment-side thread size designations, not tubing outside diameters.
When selecting a fitting, confirm both the equipment-side G thread specification and the tubing outside diameter.
G thread is a parallel thread type. The thread itself is mainly used to connect to the equipment port and does not rely on thread taper for sealing.
SHPI G thread one-touch fittings use an O-ring seal design. The seal is formed when the fitting end face is compressed against the equipment port.

G thread one-touch fittings are selected according to thread specification, tube size, sealing method, connection type, fitting shape, and compatible tubing.
The threaded end must match the G thread specification of the equipment port, valve port, or pneumatic component port.
The tube connection end should be selected based on the tubing outside diameter.
